Poinsettia Order forms are available in the Narthex,
November Messenger
and the Church
Office.
Because the office will be closed Thursday and Friday this
week, for Thanksgiving, the deadline to order has been
extended to Sunday, November 29th.
This will be your
last chance to order a poinsettia.
The church office will close at 3:00 pm on Wednesday,
November 25th
and reopen on
Monday, November 30th. In the event of an emergency
please contact the Pastor at 843-735-8846. Don’t forget our
annual
Thanksgiving Day service at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.
Many thanks to Darcy Patterson and her team
of volunteers for
the glorious harvest Thanksgiving decorations in the nave
and chancel – a testament to the many bounties of the land
and the glory of the Lord!
Join us today for the Fall Oyster Roast & “Pearls of
Wisdom” Silent Auction (3-6 pm at the Elks Lodge on Sam
Rittenberg). The event features great food, a
fun auction and live music by “Wood & Steel” (Pastor
Tom Cassem’s bluegrass/folk band. Tickets are on sale at
the site: $25 – adults; $10 – for eating kids, under 12.
Child-friendly event with playground and soccer field. See
you there.
For those of you who are looking for an alternative gift
idea this Christmas season, we will have tables set up in
the Education hallway today through December
13th
for
Christmas Bags of Caring, Angel Tree, Gifts of Hope and
Fair Trade. This is a wonderful way to
celebrate Christmas and give a gift to someone in need.
